The Innovation Way, founded in 1999, specializes in the study, practice and teaching of Innovation. Our main work has been in the development of a proprietary methodology for searching for new opportunities for Innovation called “Generating Breakthrough Ideas: How to Recognize and Seize Opportunities for Disruptive Innovation”.

This methodology has been successfully taught to hundreds of participants in different industries. Participants have included Presidents, General Directors and Executives of large companies from such areas as Technology, Research and Development, Human Resources, Planning, Operations and Sales & Marketing. We have also taught our methodology to owners and executives of small and medium sized enterprises.

We have also been successful in teaching our methodology to Directors, Researchers and University lecturers. Our aim has been to help them develop this competency in their undergraduate and post-graduate students.

In December 2004, The Innovation Way won a grant from the Mexican Government in order to develop an e-learning course for teaching its proprietary technology over the Internet, in order to promote in Mexico this much needed skill.
